New Arsenal Shirt Based On 1971 Double Kit (With Photo)

Here’s a leaked photo of Arsenal’s old-school home shirt for the 2010/2011 season. It’s an homage to the kit worn by the Gunners in their Double-winning season of 1970-71. Maths fans amongst you will have figured out that next season is the 40th anniversary of that Double; it’s also the club’s 125th anniversary.
Even as a Spurs fan, I have to say it’ll be great to see a classic Arsenal kit in use again. It’s a beautiful shirt. Now if only they could ditch that obtrusive sponsor’s logo, eh.
Word is that the away kit next season will also go retro, with yellow shirts and blue shorts.

I love this shirt but its blatantly a retro shirt with Nike, Arsenal Badge and fly emirates copied on it!
Think Arsenal would want something a bit more imagination from Nike.
I hate our white socks though and wish we’d go back to Red.
I believe in Nike, they are the best. btw white socks make players look taller and bigger.

Wish they would go full retro and ditch the Badge on the shirt – would look better with jast a cannon and balls
I like the off white or cream sleeves, but the Nike and Fly Emirates logos should be in the same color, otherwise the shirt just looks dirty.
Clearly photoshoped, the Emirates, Nike and Arsenal logos are all completely straight whereas the shirt isn’t.

this jersey looks exactly like when arsenal 1st came to the emirates
hope they put the white sleeves back and a retro badge just for the 125 anniversary,i quite like the white socks,the first kit at the emirates was nice,hate it when they mess with the sleeves,hate the kit we wear at mo and the fact the cannon is faceing the wrong way!lol
