World Cup Kits: New Denmark Adidas Away Kit Is Sweet

I am a big fan of Denmark’s new away shirt, which the Danes will show off in South Africa this summer. It’s a simple enough design but with enough modern detailing around the collar and sleeves to feel fresh, unlike so many of today’s retro kits. Good job this time, Mr Adidas.

The shoulder blade red detailing could have been a little simpler.

Adidas kits are usually nice and simple but a little too identikit and template-ish as well.

Was that a serious post, Ollie?

This kit epitomizes the lack of ingenuity from the designers at Adidas; just another boring, generic template. If you remove the Danish badge, this kit can suffice for any other team.

It’s called class, Joshua. Look at that thing, it looks sharp, gives homage to the past, is plain but eye-catching, etc. Adidas know what they’re doing, just look at Germany’s WC kit. Wow.

    Boring

You’re blind if you compare this effort to Germany’s kit. Yes, Germany’s was definitely a work of art, but this offers no homage to no past; the kit serves merely as a statement to no creativity.

Honestly, I could put a Bayern Munich badge on this kit and it could serve as their away or 3rd kit.
