To mark their man passing Pablo Alcantara and sashaying his way to the summit of Barcelona’s all-time top goalscorer list at the weekend, Adidas have produced a bespoke, limited edition, sequin-coated boot for Lionel Messi which will be available in a limited batch of just 371 pairs – one for each of his record-breaking goals for Barca.

According to the Adidas blurb, the “Messi 371” boots will feature a premium packaging for each of the 371 pairs, including a 20 page commemorative booklet detailing the magnitude of this milestone, selecting five of Messi’s most famous and important goals, with a boot inspired graphical design.

They also look like something you’d find in the bottom of Neil Diamond’s wardrobe…

Razzle and, indeed, dazzle.
