German fringe/utility man Kevin Grosskreutz has taken to Instagram to show off the new tattoo he’s had done to commemorate his recent World Cup win – despite, of course, not playing a single minute for Jogi Loew’s side at the tournament in Brazil…

We suppose he’s technically correct but that really is the David May of World Cup winner’s tattoos.

A more deserved tattoo would perhaps have been of that kebab he threw at that guy once.

I’m confused… he was in the squad that won the World Cup. It’s not like he was a fringe player who didn’t even make it to Brazil.

You know how they say “they can’t take it away from you?”

This is exactly what they’re talking about.

Pepe Reina basically cheerled in 2010, but he has a winner’s medal just like he should have.

    Take it easy, Pies.

I’m sorry but if that was me i’d be getting it and in 10 yrs time when i’m in some boozers, 20 Erdingers later i’d be flashing it at every wee freulin going – look at that I was there !!! hahaha !

I’m sure he did his job off the pitch.
