To celebrate the wee man picking up his fifth Ballon d’Or earlier in the week, Adidas have furnished Lionel Messi with a brand new pair of limited edition boots.
The Adidas Messi 15 Platinum Edition is a special version of Messi’s own eponymous signature boot, and comes in metallic white with an eye-catching pearlescent shimmer.
Stamped inside are the words “El mas grande de todos los tiempos”, which translates as “The greatest of all time”.

Adidas have been quick to confirm that the platinum Messis will not be going on sale as they are intended for the feet of the man himself and the man himself alone.
