Arsenal have got a couple of big deals over the line today, firstly announcing that the club have extended their sponsorship deal with Emirates.

The agreement will see the Gunners’ kit stamped with the Fly Emirates marque until the end of the 2023/24 season, while their stadium will continue to carry the Emirates name until at least 2028.

According to the Evening Standard, the shirt sponsor deal is “one of the biggest ever agreed in football” and is worth somewhere “over £200million” across the five years.

It will also see the corporate buddy-up between Arsenal and Emirates, which began when the former ditched O2 in 2006, become the longest-running in Premier League history.

According to the Mirror, there are also whispers abound that Arsenal might be about to sign a massive new kit supply deal with Adidas (who last provided the Gunners’ clobber in 1994) when the club’s current agreement with Puma elapses at the end of next season.

Not only that, but it’s also being reported that Arsenal on verge of announcing a deal with a “significant tech company” to become the first team in the Premier League to install special cameras at the Emirates that will provide 3D highlights for fans as of 2018/19.

Exciting times, indeed.
