As you’re probably already well aware, Usain Bolt is undergoing a trial at Borussia Dortmund today which, we can only assume, will lead to the retired sprinter making his Bundesliga debut at some point in the near future.
After a private session on Thursday, over 1,400 fans turned up at Dortmund’s Brackel training ground to watch the PUMA athlete take part in his maiden public training session with the club, who coincidentally are themselves heavily sponsored by PUMA, on Friday morning.
Here he is, collecting him PUMA training kit for the occasion…
Bolt then mucked in with the nine fit senior Dortmund players still left at the club, with most of the squad currently away on international service.
Said thousand-plus supporters were treated to Bolt doing some light skipping…

While the whole thing was fairly evidently nothing more than an elaborate publicity stunt, at least Bolt himself enjoyed moonlighting as a footballer for a couple of days.

Here’s the session in full, should you wish to sit through the whole thing for sado-masochistic reasons…
Okay? Okay.
