All change in Real’s dressing room:

As Pies told you last week, Cristiano Ronaldo will take over Raul’s No.7 shirt at Real Madrid – so CR9 reverts to CR7, as he was at Old Trafford. That’s not all…

Striker Karim Benzema will take Ronaldo’s old No.9 shirt (perhaps he’ll do better with that), with new signing Angel Di Maria slipping into Benzema’s No.11 jersey.

Xabi Alonso takes Guti’s vacant No.14 shirt, with Gonzalo Higuain choosing to keep his No.20 shirt. New signing Sami Khedira has been penciled in for the No.16 jersey, unless Real manage to sell Mahamadou Diarra, in which case the German midfielder would be given Diarra’s No.6 shirt (Khedira wore the No.6 for Germany in the 2010 World Cup).

Phew. This is exhausting.
