    Sadly, no one would have any idea what this t-shirt means. I made a joke with a colleague when he presented me with a business card sporting the surname “Donovan”. When I asked him if there was any relation I might as well have been asking if he were related to Dora the Explorer.
    You can see why the MLS might have thought the Beckham thing would be a good idea… that’s the only name in football 99.9% americans can recite.
