Man City 2011/12 Home Kit Leaked – Collar Looks A Bit Cheap (Photo)

Guess what? We’ve nabbed a leaked photo of what is hotly tipped to be Man City’s home shirt as of next season and, from the evidence on show, it seems to be an ever-so-slightly darker shade of blue than last year’s affair…

Hmmm, the jury’s still out here.

Looks decidedly cheap to my eye (especially the collar), like one of those €10 knock-offs you find hanging from market stalls in Tenerife or some such place – which is, first of all, immensely ironic given City’s immense financial clout and, secondly, a bit of a shame given that I really quite liked their classy, stripped-down 2010/11 home shirt.

Any thoughts peeps?

Oh, and while we’re on the subject, please feel free to step this way for a look at City’s new away strip for 2011/12.

Real or not, that is awful. And you’re right it is total market stall tat. The new away shirt is miles better than this heap of shit.

  2. Jimbob says:

I doubt if this is really City’s next home kit. It looks far too cheap and Umbro are pretty good at keeping things under wraps — nobody saw a leak of their new away strip, for example. If this is their new home kit, then I’m sorry to say that it is very poor indeed and the material seems to be a massive step back from the higher quality shirts of late. The only plus side is that it is still quite simple and has a very nice shade of blue — but that’s all I can say positively about it. If this does end up on the shelves, I don’t think it will be a big seller. Umbro can do much better than this!

  3. Andy says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that is shit

  4. Paul Calf says:

FAKE! All City’s shirts are from the Umbro tailored range, which this is not. Might be a backroom staff shirt or training clobber, or just a fake ass pile of shite

  5. Joe says:

Mein gott, it’s like they set out with the exclusive purpose of ruining the good work they did on the previous shirt. Cheap and nasty. Probably fake though.

  6. Anonymous says:

Think it’s already been exposed as a fake on other sites

  7. Cityin Amsterdam says:

It has been “leaked” on other sites. This is a fake.

  8. Markell says:

This shirt is NOT Umbro quality, that much is certain. They have been producing the best kits in football throughout the year. I would never dream that they would be associated with anything this bad.

  9. Steve W says:

I really hope it isn’t the new shirt but the Umbro label in the back worries me a lot… could be the real deal, but let’s hope not!!!

  10. Raul says:

    Shit Just Like City

  11. Hirsty says:

Jeeze louise why not just keep the one from last season, which itself was almost identical to the one before it? A new shirt every season is ridiculous and yet people keep buying them…

  12. Gedward says:

Its the same colour as citys seats so you cant spot which are empty or not

  13. dk says:

shit jersey for shit clubs. How sure are you all are in saying this were fake? Fake my ass. Everything is fake fake fake fake. fake jersey for fake club ?

  14. sr says:

Raul + dk = obsessed wankers.

  15. david may says:

hahahah same thing every year….sucked in by fake photo`s you think City and Umbro would
    A) let a shirt of such magnitude leak out-i think not.
    B) design a kit with a nod towards 1995? i think not.

what a load of shite-post something relevant…. oh someone did…Raul + dk = obsessed wankers.

  16. arryardstuff says:

Totally fake i can assure you.

Last few seasons mcfc had best shirts in premiership and the new home kit is just as good.

    Wind yer neck in raul.

  17. Kill Will says:

Dk….,you dont spell Dick like that. ;-)

The shirt is fake, everybody stop worrying.

  18. arryardstuff says:

You will see a clip on mcfc website in coming weeks of new home shirt and very smart it is to unlike dk and raul.
