Football GIFs: Porto Players Unveil New Kits From Beneath ‘Emperor Palpatine’ Costumes
By Chris Wright
You can almost feeeel the hate flowing through Porto’s new kits for 2011/12, as modelled by Emperor Hulk and his cronies.
Some feeble-minded gooch has disabled embedding on the video, so we’re afraid you’ll have to wander outside Pies’ safe confines to check it out.
Thankfully, the Palpatine section of the strange ceremony is also available in GIF form…
Photos of the kits themselves…
Thanks to Pies fan Nickesh for the nudge.

Are we going baggy sleeves again? Fair play.
Either that or they’ve used an XL shirt for the home picture, and a M for the away picture, bit odd.
The away kit is nice. Although I’m not sure who they’re marketing to, considering Portugal is on the verge of economic collapse.
WHOAH the away kit is sweet!
@Montesquieu you do realize that Portguese are 2nd most spread out people on earth. Only the irish have more people who immigrated to other countries than the portuguese. I read that there are more Portuguese outside the country then in Portugal itself. Also Porto are a very successful team and win things unlike the clubs from London. Plus in Portugal people only support 3 and now with braga only 4 teams. The other teams get no support what so ever.
Also Benfica are the club with the most members in it world wide of any football team. Benfica has more club members then Manchester United and Barcelona. It’s not Porto but still the Portuguese teams get alot of support outside of the country.
