Umbro Unveil Swanky New ‘Special Edition’ England Away Kit (Photos)

Presenting: Umbro’s swish new Peter Saville-designed Special Edition Away kit range, a modified version of the current strip which sees a couple of subtle changes made to the badge and the collar – with Saville’s ‘Modern England’ design (the interlocked St George’s crosses) cut-and-pasted from the ‘eye-catching’ goalkeeper’s jersey and the Three Lions rendered in monotone navy…

Also available in ‘Regatta Blue’…

For good measure, there’s also a swanky new take on the ‘Anthem Jacket’ as well…

It may be a bit of a ‘money for old rope’ scenario but, gullable consumer peons that we are, Pies bloody love that new away shirt. Might have to start drawing up the Christmas list a couple of months early this year.

Can I get a ‘yay’ or a ‘nay’ people?

    The jacket is perfect for all the chavs. Overall, bad designs both of them. Unimpressed by these two.

    I wouldn’t say it’s classy, it’s not bad but the monochrome scheme makes it seem it’s just a cash grab. Which the England national team is anyway…

    the blue shirt is nice, the black shirt is a pound of boring made worse by an ounce of ugly with the collar. the track top is purely awful.
