Leicester City have announced that complimentary refreshments will be laid on for fans at Saturday’s home game against Bournemouth in memory of the club’s late chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
Srivaddhanaprabha was one of five people killed in a helicopter crash that occurred outside the King Power Stadium back in October. He would have turned 61 next week.
Leicester City to give free beer, water and cup cakes to supporters at Saturday’s home game to mark late chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s birthday. Few clubs connect with their fans as well as Leicester.

A valid match ticket will entitle fans to a bottle of Chang, a bottle of mineral water or a cupcake, which can be collected from various points around the ground.
Of course, Srivaddhanaprabha made several such gestures during his tenure as Foxes chairman, regularly offering freebies (including complimentary breakfasts and Krispy Kreme donuts) to fans as a mark of gratitude for their continued support.
Lovely stuff.
