Kylian Mbappe scored four goals in almost exactly 13 minutes on Sunday night as PSG have rivals Lyon a proper walloping in Ligue 1.

However, it was Neymar who opened the floodgates by converting a penalty just nine minutes in, before his young strike partner set about stealing the show in the second half.

Mbappe’s first goal (PSG’s second of the night) came in the 61st minute, and by the 69th he’d completed his hat-trick.

The 19-year-old forward’s fourth goal then came just five minutes later, putting the cap of a 5-0 rout.

PSG are now already eight points clear at the top of the table, while Lyon lie down in sixth.

As for Mbappe, that’s 67 goals in 135 games for club and country, with three hat-tricks to his name – and he doesn’t even turn 20 until December.

Not too shabby.
