Looks like he now plays in China for Guangzhou Evergrande as that is the badge next to the name and would perhaps explain the salary ! Think Lippi is their manager these days.
Yea but Ronaldo and Messi are better than all the other players combined on that list. Based on their skill Ronaldo should atleast get 30 million while Messi gets 35 million.

Cristiano Ronaldo is ahead of all other footballers when endorsements are included, followed by Messi. And when the tax rates of the respective countries are included, Ronaldo and Messi take home much more than Rooney, Torres (and other top Premier League players) do, even in salary alone. Anyway if you check out this list, Ronaldo is doing just fine (unless he is unhappy he doesn’t get as much money as Floyd Mayweather):

I thought Tevez had a clause in his contract that ensured he is City’s highest player. I think Marca may have used a bit of artistic license.
