All throughout the World Cup, Australian comedian Alex “Shooter” Williamson has been providing snippets of gloriously foul-mouthed commentary via his Instagram account.

It’s in largely poor taste and is extremely heavy on the expletives, but we love it – mostly as it puts us in mind of Alan Partridge’s seminal World Cup ’94 coverage.

Here’s Shooter calling Tim Cahill’s monster volley against Holland…

Suarez…

England against Italy…

Messi’s goal against Iran…

Gervinho…

James Rodriguez’s volley…

Pies may well be in the minority here, but we definitely reckon football commentary in general could be improved ten-fold by a bit of choice, post-watershed swearing!

“For me Clive, he could have perhaps taken a touch there.”

“Oh f**k off Andy.”
