The Best Of Aussie Comedian Shooter Williamson’s Gloriously Foul-Mouthed World Cup Commentary

By Chris Wright

All throughout the World Cup, Australian comedian Alex “Shooter” Williamson has been providing snippets of gloriously foul-mouthed commentary via his Instagram account.

It’s in largely poor taste and is extremely heavy on the expletives, but we love it – mostly as it puts us in mind of Alan Partridge’s seminal World Cup ’94¬†coverage.

Here’s Shooter calling Tim Cahill’s monster volley against Holland…

Suarez…

England against¬†Italy…

Messi’s goal against Iran…

Gervinho…

James Rodriguez’s volley…

Pies may well be in the minority here, but we definitely reckon football commentary in general could be improved ten-fold by a bit of choice, post-watershed swearing!

“For me Clive, he could have perhaps taken a touch there.”

“Oh f**k off Andy.”
