Brave new England? Not quite, but at least I hope we can reset our expectations for how good Capello’s team is. With the players we have (whether they be from the old school or promising youngsters), England should target the quarter-finals of Euro 2012 as a good performance. Anything more would be unreasonable, especially with rival teams like Spain, Holland and Germany, all of which are better than us by a considerable margin.
