Goals in the second half by Man Utd striker Danny Welbeck (2) and Villa midfielder Marc Albrighton (on as a sub) got the job done, but only after a first half in which Lithuania had made it very difficult for Stuart Pearce’s talented babies. The win sees England U21 qualify – just – for the Euro 2011 play-offs in October. Woop woop!
