@frank: thanks for explaining that, although i could do without being called a spanner. wasn’t exactly obvious. maybe it’s a culture gap, but i would have called it “top 10 footballers with hyphenated names.” is double-barrelled a common term for that in the UK?

Good to see Abdulai Bell-Baggie on the list, or Bilbo Baggins as we called him when he was on loan at Vale! Troy Archibald-Henville and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff should definately be in there ,along with another former Vale stalwart Marc Bridge-Wilkinson.
Maybe we could see a double barrel first name list with the likes of Trond-Egil Soldvedt and Jay-Jay Ockocha on there!

You kinda answered yourself as to why they aren’t there.. Only one IS double barrelled. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
As for other double barrelled names (and he’s white. And Scottish. As far as I’m aware the only double barrelled name to represent Scotland) there’s Craig Mackail-Smith at Peterborough.
