So glad Van Der Sar isn’t in this, no doubt he used to be a quality keeper but in the last 2 seasons i think if he wasn’t at Man U then he’d be getting criticised alot. Top 5 keeper in the world? One word: Kicking.

I’ve always been impressed by Friedel, though AV’s attacking style means fewer clean sheets.
The same applies to Gomes, who was excellent after four matches under Harry, but you must figure that Spurs will let in goals while away. And in the last two minutes… And versus ManU…

Fair enough, I was just highlighting the understatement in that sentence. We’ll be OK though, Hangeland is likely to stay because puzzlingly Arsenal have been the only ones sniffing around (knock wood) and they won’t splurge because he’s A) Tall, B) More than 12m and C) a winner instead of a whiner.

Fulham keep it FAIRLY tight? That’s like saying Idi Amin was a ‘fairly’ bad man. We conceded less than all but the top 3 last season. And as nice a bloke Tim Howard is, I don’t think many would put him in the top 5 (Casillas, Buffon, Reina, VDS, Schwarzer/Cech/Julio Cesar)
