With rumblings over his immediate future gaining steady momentum this week, much-fancied Liverpool centre-half Dan Agger has gone ‘full Scouse’ and had ‘YNWA’ (‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ for the uninitiated) tattooed across his knuckles as a show of solidarity…

What we don’t see here is that Agger has also had ‘CITY’ tattooed across the knuckles on his other hand and a huge ‘BARCELONA’ tramp stamp.

Wow. What was the need for the jibe at the end? I can understand neutrals hating on Suarez, but why would you hate on Agger? Bollocks. You lose internets for your unwarranted poke at a fabulous and loyal player.

  2. Mr. T says:

Haha. It’s not that. I can understand people would kick a dog who bit them or was trying to bite them. But I can’t understand people who would go out of their way to kick a dog just for the heck of it. It’s the senseless of it that provoked the reaction. As far as I know there has been no official word from Agger courting either City or Barca. So where is the reference to a ‘tramp stamp’ and the city tattoo coming from?

If you have an agenda that you are trying to push then that would be understandable too, as it is your website after all, which is why my comment contained a question (the second question to be exact).

  3. Mr. T says:

    o_0 Er. OK.

PS: In the second post the word should have been ‘senselessness’ and not ‘senseless’

That’s what you get for making a light-hearted joke. Your mistake was thinking Liverpool fans aren’t complete door knobs.

  5. Jimmy says:

“if you have an agenda you are trying to push…’

Took a while for that to come up, but my Scouse-bingo card has another stamp!

  6. fouldsy says:

@mr. T: come on mate, its a comedy football blog, lighten up.

Ps, resorting to being a grammar nazi made you look like even more of a tosser than you did in the first place. Just an FYI.

  7. Mr. T says:

@ 9 inch and Jimmy – Well, I too was expecting some morons to pop up and besmirch an entire fan group comprising millions for what was a completely reasonable question to ask, asked by one person on one website.

A question which would get asked by any fan for any of their supported team’s players. So I guess all round its a good day for expectations being fulfilled.

  8. Mr. Chopper says:

HOW CARE YOU MAEK FUN OF AGGER WHEN WE HAVE PERFECTLY GOOD JAY SPEARINGS FOR MICKY-TAKING, FINGER-POKING AND BAR MITZVAHS?

  9. Herman says:

Surely it was supposed tosay YMCA?

    Young Neighbourhood Watch Association?

  11. Fred says:

Personally, I think you should have commented on how he and Skrtel are bringing back the white supremacist look to Liverpool

Once upon a time there lived a Clichy…

carrol is really studying that goal in the picture. almost as if he’s trying to figure out how to put a ball in the back of it.

  14. C says:

Ffs Mr. T, learn to take/understand a joke. The “jibe” vas abvious, and funny, since both city and barca are after Agger. Relax dude.

  15. Andy Carroll's Ponytail says:

I have it on good authority that Andy wasn’t trying to figure out how to place the ball into the net.

He was wondering if what they say about a striker with no confidence who always sees the goal as smaller than it actually is has come true!

  16. Anonymous says:

pointless discussion about Agger having a Barcelona tramp stamp really. there’d be no room ofr it, what with his giant viking graveyard which he’s already got on his back.

also, why would nayone want to buy him – according to this picture he’s let Andy Carroll get in behind him. Diabolical defending.

I wish there was a like button on these comments, some of them are priceless!

  18. Del says:

One the one hand you’ve got Torres with YNWA printed on the inside of an armband while he was Atletico captain and having said armband ‘innocently’ come loose during a game, and on the other hand you’ve got Agger tattooing YNWA onto his very body. £50 million later…
If Agger was trying to prove his loyalty to LFC by getting that tattoo, he sure convinced me.
