look it up look it the history wat make the size of a football club its history man utd big club coz of there history that was before ferguson are people tell me that before that time man utd were better than everton u know it at liverpool 10 years of doing nothing under souness and evans nothing till 2001 they dnt get classed as a small club but everton do we are a big club anybody who knows anything about football will know that thank you

Everton are a small club. The club’s fanbase and spirit seems to be dying, with Liverpool taking over more and more of the fanbase. History means nothing when you look at the present.

everton are a massive club u’v only got to look at the facts to know that just beacause they’v had a bad peroid every top club in this contry has had a bad period liverpool in the early days manutd in the 70′s chelsea were up and down in the 80′s everton have a big fanbase u know so how can everton be a small club on 10years of crap u cant juge a clubs size on that because then thats like saying that man utd werent a big club when they went down in the 70′s everton are a gr8 club who are working up to be a top 5 club again and they will be IF YA KNOW YA HISTORY

Shankly said a lot worse (or better, if you will) – what’s the big deal?
Everton should lighten up. Their over-reaction to a throwaway comment in the middle of an interview only serves to shows how close to the bone it was.

Proper? What the hell does that mean?
I’m a Liverpool fan, and like most Reds fans, I have respect for Everton, though I know that not many from their side return the respect.

The comment is better left ignored, a petty jibe from a disgruntled manager. Having just been frustrated and coming out saying that just makes him look small. It’s childish, the equivalent of Moyssie coming out and saying “well yo mamman don’t think I’m too small”
Besides playing for a draw at a hard away match would be considered smart tactics by many foriegn fans. Do we have to always be the plucky English losers ?
Everton are a proper club, with the history and support to back it up. I’d put half a dozen or so clubs in that bracket.
