If you’re going to take someone out, make sure you do it with a bit of panache…

To think, Pinzi’s unashamedly blatant take down had ITV wibbler Clive Tyldesley screaming blue murder at the time: “RED CARD!!! VIOLENT CONDUCT!!!” Please, ’twas nothing more than a little piggyback.

Saying that, we’ve definitely seen Pinzi’s technique before somewhere…

    Harsh yellow

When you get skinned by Stewart Downing so badly your only recourse is to foul him….. deserves a straight red, just to save you further embarrassment.

    Is Stephen Ireland refereeing?

haha this was hilarious and tyldesley is a moron who couldn’t interpret what Pinzi was thinking. Pinzi is already cracking up while committing the foul, a lot of us would try and be more subtle and go for a wee ankle tap or shirt pull, but he clearly just thought “f**k it, im too slow but i’m having none of it!” no intent to hurt him at all, just a blunt admission that he was done for.

Should have let downing run through.

Udinese would have had a goal kick a few seconds later with Downings record.

hahaha…chapeau for being absolutly honest with this foul and only getting a yellow one.

To be fair, id rather a defender did that when I was through than make a desperate ankle snapping challenge. Both are as blatant as eachother but this is far less dangerous. It was malicious, and if a Liverpool player did the same I’d be ok with it.

For a moment there I thought Stephen Ireland was refereeing…

    Good one Chris! XD

  10. Reminds me of Boris Johnson’s tackle in the charity England vs Germany match.
