Question: How many more shots of Jamie Carragher looking dejected at full-time – Stevie G and Fernando Torres are usually in the dressing room by then – must Liverpool fans cope with?

Answer: a few more, at least until Rafa does the decent thing and resigns

Massive credit to Reading for keeping their heads up after going 1-0 down to a deflected Stevie G shot just before half-time. Very simply, they wanted to win more – Liverpool’s malaise was reflected in the strangely quiet home fans; was Anfield ever this flat? – whereas the home side played from memory.

    Everyone’s saying this is a shocked defeat, but honestly. It is in no surprise, anyone could of seen this coming. And this is from a Liverpool fan, dear oh dear.
