Photos: Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool – Diaby Keeps Gunners In Title Race

By Ollie Irish

Until Abou Diaby’s headed goal on 72 minutes, there was a subdued, Clash of the Bridesmaids feel about this game. But when Diaby scored, and news filtered through that Chelsea and Man Utd had only scored one point between them, a surge of optimism swept around the Emirates.

Arsenal can still win the title, but I’d say they can only afford to lose one more game, at most. They’ve been pretty shit against the big boys this season, but their run-in looks pretty generous and I would expect both Chelsea and Man Utd to slip up a couple more times, so who knows?
