While all the talk concerning Liverpool has been about Luis Suarez’s future, on the pitch Brendan Rodgers’ men produced an impressive performance against the Thai national side in Bangkok.
Suarez started the game on the bench but it was Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho who was the star of the show, netting a terrific solo goal before setting up Iago Aspas for the Reds’ second. After the break, Steven Gerrard made it 3-0 to finish off the Merseysiders Asian tour in style.
