West Brom 1-1 Liverpool – Kolo-ssal Cock-Up Sees Liverpool Slip At The Hawthorns (Photos & Highlights)

By Alan Duffy

West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Liverpool – Premier League – 2nd February 2014

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - West Bromwich Albion v Liverpool - The Hawthorns

Liverpool’s title tilt suffered a blow at the Hawthorns on Sunday, with Victor Anichebe’s second-half goal cancelling out Daniel Sturridge’s first-half effort. That opener for the Reds came after good work from Luis Suarez, but that good work was undone on 67 minutes, when a horror pass from Kolo Toure gifted a chance to Anichebe who fired past Simon Mignolet in the Liverpool goal. The Baggies then pushed for the winner but ultimately both sides would have to be content with a share of the points.
