Steven Gerrard could be punished after appearing to flash a V-sign at ref Andre Marriner during Liverpool’s defeat at Wigan on Monday evening.
However, I very much doubt Stevie G (‘Stevie V’, The Sun dubbed him – ho ho ho) will be found guilty of anything, as he could very easily claim in his defence that he was merely informing the ref that it was “just his second foul”.
What’s wrong about flashing a V-sign at a ref???
Looks more like he’s trying to moan about second, twice, 2 etc then a proper v-sign imo.
