Liverpool survived a second-half rally from Norwich on Sunday to go five points clear at the top of the table. Raheem Sterling and Luis Suarez put the Reds 2-0 up within 11 minutes as Brendan Rodgers’ charges looked to capitalise on Chelsea defeat against Sunderland.

After the break, the Canaries were a different proposition and a goal from Gary Hooper put the strugglers back into the game. Liverpool did restore their two goal lead, courtesy of another Sterling effort only for Robert Snodgrass to set up a dramatic finale. However, the Reds held on to put daylight between themselves and second-place Chelsea with a first league title since 1990 now looking extremely likely. As for Norwich, they find themselves just two points clear of the drop-zone with fixtures against Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal still to come.

For their sake I hope Liverpool sort out their defence before Chelsea visit next weekend.

Johnston was making uncharacteristic errors and Sakho continues to be a bundle of nerves.

Eto’o will punish such lacklustre defending by himself. God help Liverpool if Hazard is fit.

Having said that, Liverpool will still probably score 6 and it’ll end up 6-5

Another game, another ludicrous Suarez dive. Jesus Christ would’ve been proud of that resurrection, on Easter Sunday of all days.
