Whereas they’re not the finished article by any means, a set of renderings showing one of the final-ish designs for the proposed redevelopment of Anfield have been leaked this week, showing just how John Henry and his posse intend to boost Liverpool’s current 45,000-seater home up to a capacity approaching 60,000 in 2018 or so…

According to the Daily Mail who happened across the designs yesterday, the images are “believed to be official designs for the long-awaited plans”, although the final final designs are “understood to have been updated in key areas before the unveiling.”

The Mail also claim that the final, final, final Anfield renderings are due to be unveiled before Liverpool’s game against Chelsea on Sunday

We’ll keep ’em peeled.

So contrary to popular belief they’re not putting in a swimming pool for Suarez to practice in then?

Just the surrounding 5 or so miles radius they need to redevelop next then. Honestly, I thought the tracksuit/feral children thing was a joke about Liverpool. I’ve been twice, hopefully I don’t go 3 times.
