I predicted the ‘Pool would be knocked out by Benfica – a dangerous team – but I’m happy Torres and co. proved me wrong. This was a fine win, if a wee bit nervewracking until Torres scored Liverpool’s fourth – and his second – in the endgame, with a very classy chipped finish.

Liverpool will take on Atletico Madrid – Nando’s former club – in the semi finals, and it’s a tie they can definitely win. Hopefully we’ll get a Liverpool vs Fulham final.

You’re happy Liverpool wasn’t downed by Benefica? Bugger off, you bitter spud supporter, you’ve been sore for years concerning Liverpool. Your attempt at sweeping your contempt towards Liverpool is pathetic.

@ Gran……Pathetic is also a word i would usa at your paranoia at the hatred you reckon people have for your team. Most reasonable fans would prefer an English team to win over foriegn opposition all except the likes of you. If you want to see a bitter try looking in the mirror.
