Jurgen Klopp is not your average top-level football coach, this we know. Indeed, how many other Premier League managers have a bottle of Vimto stashed on their office shelf in case of delicious fruit juice-based emergencies? None, we posit. None.
A photo of the shelves in Klopp’s office has been doing the rounds on Twitter this morning, with fans taken aback by the wide and varied assortment of useless knick-knacks that Klopp has on display.
We count two Daniel Sturridge caps, a mini Bundesliga winners’ shield and a box of Cadbury’s Heroes, as well as an English Dictionary that the Liverpool Echo reckon was given to Klopp by Nathaniel Clyne as a Secret Santa present last Christmas.
That’s not to mention the matching pair of truly marvellous golden garden gnomes that are book-ending the whole collection.
What a kook.
