At least Stevie G looks happy. In terms of general morale at Liverpool, Hodgson’s arrival appears to have worked wonders. Now if he can just find a way to make Mascherano happy… If not, it’s off to Inter for the surly Argentine.
As good as he is, few fans warm to Mascherano because he’s clearly such a moody dickface. So if he does go to Inter, as seems likely, there won’t be many tears on Merseyside.
