This very day in 1913, one William Shankly was born in the Ayrshire mining village of Glenbuck, making today his 98th birthday.

    That 11th photo brought a tear to my eye. Seeing the great man himself holding aloft the League trophy like a victorious, returning Knight whilst everyone around him when ape. Simply glorious.
