Manchester City 3-0 Sunderland – Premier League – 6th October 2012
Manchester City bagged their first clean sheet of the season in the early kick-off on Saturday, comfortably taking care of visitors Sunderland with a 3-1 scoreline.
On five minutes, Aleksander Kolarov netted another free-kick goal to send the Citizens ahead before sub Sergio Aguero and then James Milner netted second-half goals to give Roberto Mancini’s side a deserved win.
Former Arsenal man Seb Larsson did his best to get the Black Cats back into the game while Steven Fletcher was always a threat up front. However, in truth City could have won by more as they bounced back from their midweek Champions League draw.
