Viktoria Plzen 0-3 Manchester City – Champions League – 17th September 2013
Man City got their 2013/14 Champions League campaign off to the perfect start in the Czech Republic on Tuesday night, strolling to victory over Viktoria Plzen.
All the goals came after the break, with Edin Dzeko opening the scoring before Yaya Touré’s superb curler and Sergio Aguero’s clever finish.
As well as seeing his side win with ease on the road, City boss Manuel Pellegrini will also be delighted to have seen his captain Vincent Kompany complete 90 minutes after the Belgian returned from injury.
