A cracking Aleksandr Kolarov effort ultimately won Man City the game at the Liberty as the Citizens proved too good for their opponents. Fernandinho opened the scoring before Wilfried Bony levelled on the stroke of half-time. However, after the break the visitors stepped up a gear and took the lead once more courtesy of a deflected Yaya Touré before Kolarov ran from inside his own-half before firing home on 66 minutes. The outstanding Bony did score at the death again but the visitors were well worth the win.
