Manchester City 2-1 Swansea City – Premier League – 22nd November 2014
Title-holders Man City came from a goal down to beat Swansea at the Etihad on Saturday, a win which sees them stay eight points behind league leaders Chelsea.
In-form hitman Wilfried Bony opened the scoring on nine minutes, after a superb pass from Nathan Dyer. However, Stevan Jovetic levelled the scores soon after, with Yaya Touré netting the winner just after the hour-mark.
Hard-fought though it was, the Citizens deserved the victory which was vital for their hopes of retaining the Premier League gong. Garry Monk’s Swans, on the other hand, drop to seventh.
