Fans attending Wednesday night’s Champions League tie between Napoli and Man City are advised to stick to tracksuit bottoms and dungarees.

This is because belts have been formally added to the list of items banned from being taken into the Stadio San Paolo over security concerns.

As well as supporters of both clubs, members of the press will also be prevented from entering the ground with a belt about their person.

That said, we’ve had a skim through the safety documentation and apparently suspenders aren’t deemed to present the same sort of risk, so fans keen to adopt the Mork/Larry King/Charlie Sheen in Wall Street look will probably be fine.
