Sergio Aguero was the star of the show for Manchester City on Saturday, with the Argentinian hitman netting four in his side’s 5-1 win against Leicester at the Etihad.

Raheem Sterling opened the scoring for the hosts on three minutes, courtesy of a Kevin De Bruyne assist.

However, Sterling’s England team-mate Jamie Vardy leveled the scores before the half-hour mark after a fine run.

After the break, it was time for the Aguero show, with the 29-year-old getting his first shortly after the re-start, with De Bruyne again the architect with an outstanding pass.

Five minutes later, the striker would scored again with the equally outstanding De Bruyne notching his third assist of the game.

Just after an hour of play, Riyad Mahrez made his return to the Foxes side after a difficult few weeks, with the winger coming off thew bench to applause from both sets of supporters.

On 77 minutes, it was back to business for City and Aguero, who completed his hat-trick after a howler from Kasper Schmeichel in the Leicester goal.

Then, at the death, Aguero got his fourth and City’s fifth of the game, via an outstanding strike from outside the box.

Aguero now has an incredible 13 goals in 10 games in 2018 as he, and De Bruyne, continue to fire Pep Guardiola’s side towards the title, and maybe a few more trophies too.

As for Leicester, they stay eighth after the toughest fixture they’ll face all season.
