Man City have indulged in a little retail therapy in a bid to ease the throbbing migraine brought on by Wednesday night’s Champions League quarter-final drubbing at Anfield.

As Liverpool ran riot on the way to a 3-0 win, Pep Guardiola’s uncharacteristically limp side failed to produce a single shot on target over the course of 90 minutes.

However, aggrieved City fans can at least console themselves that, mere hours after the humbling, their club managed to get their act together in time to sign off on a new “multi-million pound” corporate sponsorship deal with Tinder…

As well as providing the means to “connect City fans all around the world” and “bring millions of people together every day on a huge global platform”, the deal has also seen Tinder change the colour of their logo to City blue on social media – which is how it will remain until after the Manchester derby this coming weekend.

Excellent timing, especially as City made such a lousy job of producing a match for Liverpool’s power pressing mere hours beforehand.

Embarrassing defeat at Anfield? What embarrassing defeat at Anfield?

Quite an apt time to make this announcement when you think about it, given that they were fucked on an important date only last night. Weeeeyyyyyoooo
