Sergio Aguero has signed a contract extension at Man City that will keep him tied to the club until the end of the 2020/2021 season.
The renewed terms will see the Argentinian striker turn 33 before his City deal runs out, after which he has openly stated a desire to return to boyhood club Independiente…

Aguero is City’s all-time leading goalscorer with 204 goals in 299 appearances, boasting 27 more goals to his name than anybody who has ever worn the sky blue shirt.
For a short while (i.e. pre Gabriel Jesus’ ankle injury), it looked a little unsure as to whether Pep Guardiola was all-in on keeping Kun around for the long term, but thankfully the benefit of having the club’s greatest ever goalscorer on board seems to have prevailed.
