Is Alfonso Alves the striker that Man City needs?

According to reports in Holland, Sven’s Man Citeh have agreed a near £14m deal to sign Brazilian goal machine Alfonso Alves from Dutch side, Heerenveen.
The striker just can’t seem to stop scoring with 31 goals in his first 34 games for the club and he’s already notched ten in four games, including seven in a single match, this season.
With City struggling to find a first class forward – Valeri Bonjinov is injured and Rolando Bianchi turned out to be crap – could Alves’ goals write another chapter in Sven’s success story this season?
