Roberto Mancini: Tevez Mother Abuse Claims Are ‘Bollocks’

By Ollie Irish

“I want you to go to the train station and buy a one-way ticket to Fuck Off”

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has played down his dressing-room row with Carlos Tevez on Sunday.

The Italian coach clashed with the Argentine striker during half-time in the (jammy) 2-1 win over Newcastle United.

“My encounter with Tevez? There has been a lot of nonsense written,” the former Inter boss told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“These things happen in our locker room as much as they do in any other. It is necessary and it is good when it happens.

“It was a heated confrontation but after that City won, so the wake-up call worked. Before returning to the field we had cleared it all up.”

Tevez was delighted by his mum’s impromptu visit to England

Mancini also described as “bollocks” one newspaper’s report that he had insulted Tevez’s mother during a “ballsy” confrontation.

This will end in tears.

“Bollocks” is such a beautiful word – it cannot be trumped in an argument, ever.

If this were the EdF, Tevez would be sent home to Argentina, banned for life from the Premier League, and Roberto Mancini would be on the dole. And then people would be shocked, yes shocked, that the players would be pissed off.
