Man City Winger Adam Johnson Scores Brilliant Solo Goal, vs Red Bull Salzburg (Video)

By Ollie Irish

Man City beat Red Bull Salzburg easily at Eastlands last night. The match was lit up by this superb goal from tricksy winger Adam Johnson:

Sweet goal by one of the few English players with the self-confidence and skill to beat a man. Oh, and Mario Balotelli scored twice, which has to be a good thing if it stops the Italian bitching for a week or two.

The win takes City into the last 32 of the seemingly interminable Europa League. And as with so many games in this drawn-out competition, you’ll have forgotten about it by the end of the week.

What a twat that Balotelli is. Cheer if you score a goal for god’s sake!

nah, i like the nonchalant approach. call it sulk if you want. he doesn’t celebrate when he scored but he gets very frustrated when he misses. it’s not that he doesn’t care (adebayor) it’s that he expects to score

  3. James says:

Wish ‘pool had bought Johnson :(
