Tim Howard was Everton’s ultimate hero against Man City last night, taking on all-comers in a display of such intensity I thought he was literally going to explode at one stage. T-Ho was a wrecking ball.

City had more possession, more chances, more corners – more everything except heart and genuine teamwork.
