The 10 greatest Premier League goals of the decade: No.9 – Paul Scholes, Aston Villa v Man Utd, 2006

You don’t often see Paul Scholes this excited. But then he had just scored one of the great volleys in Prem history, at Villa Park in December 2006:
Sublime, and even better than another Scholes belter, scored against Bradford City at the start of the decade. This didn’t quite make the final list of ten:
As Andy Gray might say, when Scholes hits them, they stay hit.

“Headed out by McCann, *Thump* HOWWWWWW!”
I remember watching this one live and cracking up at that. Great, great goal!
Great goal, but I’d be more inclined to say the one against Bradford was even better.
I think this strike against Boro is better than both, hitting a ball rolling into you with no spin, just amazing!

I’m sorry, but I have to say number 10 was a better hit then this one. While a great striker, this was still towards the centre of the goal where-as Didi’s was right in the top corner.
Yes I’m being pedantic but you can deal with it :p
i hope essien v. arsenal is in here!
I agree with Matt.
