@ mikeyj47 – totally agree and don’t like the insinuation made by @leppystew by saying “cheated an african team”, whats the relevance of where the team is from? Would you have said cheated a European team if it was against Italy? No. Making a connection between the teams origin and Suarez’s percieved racism is ridiculous

Yes, Suarez dives. So what? Everyone does it. Why aren’t there constant articles about Ashley Young? Is it because he’s English?

Oh, and anyone who brings up the Ghana handball is a stupid cunt who doesn’t know football – that’s exactly what you’d want your player to do. The ‘controversy’ was that we were being fed an African love-in by the media. If Asamoah Gyan would have done the same thing and the other end and Suarez missed the penalty Gyan would have been heralded as a selfless hero.

Spot on, I’m a Liverpool fan and this drives me crazy about Suarez, just play football because you’re brilliant at it!
As for the other remarks,
“handball during a world cup quarter final match, cheating an african team out of making history.” Name a player who wouldn’t have done that? Even his team mate made an effort to get to it.

wise up to yourself liam, fergie gets more stick in the media than most managers. This favoritism talk is a load of b*llocks. This is suarez again trying to distance himself from the evra incident, its uniteds fault the media were all over him apparently, nothing to do with the endless array of bad press he has garnered during his career. he has only himself to blame.
lets look at priors:
-biting a player on a pitch during a match.
-racially abusing patrice evra (personal thoughts, tried to wind evra up, maybe didnt realise how big a deal it would be. noones fault but his own)
-handball during a world cup quarter final match, cheating an african team out of making history. celebrating like hed scored a winning goal when they missed their penalty.
-persistant simulation (not the only player who does this but the attention he has placed on himself means it will always be picked up on when he does)
This is only to name the higher profile incidents.
If suarez keep himself clean of controversy then the media would have nothing to write about however that seems to be beyond him…but thats man united fault of course
