@drags clearly not a “clear cut penalty”. To me it was more Rooney that tripped in Caulker than actually a foul. Caulker was disputing the ball, he was running and he didn’t put his leg out to hit Rooney, he just tripped on him. Play on.

That said, there is not much to separate the top four teams this season, at least in terms of ability. United just came out of the blocks quicker at the start of the season.

A five point cushion is hardly enormous and it will make the next derby game all that more interesting.
