Seems like retirement has leavened Fergie’s soul. Here he is engaging in a Mexican Wave at yesterday’s Legends game between Manchester United and Real Madrid at Old Trafford…

Sir Bobby got stuck in too…

Should he really be crowdsurfing at his age?

As for the game itself, over 60,000 people turned out to see Real Madrid beat United 2-1 at Old Trafford, with Fernando Morientes opening the scoring, Van Nistelrooy (who played a half for each side) leveling for United and Ruben de la Red scoring Real’s winner with a superbly nonchalant chip over Raimond van der Gouw…

That’s a lot of talent on that there pitch.

Here’s a little bonus bit of Scholesy popping a cheeky dink over Zinedine Zidane, which we’re also going to throw in free of charge…

Lollipop!

You’ll also be glad to learn that the exhibition game helped raise over £800,000 for the Red Heart United charity.

How thoroughly spiffing.
